Speed-dating is a fun and interactive way to meet other singles in your area without the conventional hassles of approaching and meeting strangers. Within your specified age group, you will have several ‘speed’ dates that last 7 minutes with other singles interested in getting to know you, at one of Southern California’s top venues! Our partner venues provide private event areas, an amazing date atmosphere, and exclusive drink and appetizer specials for our guests during the event. There couldn’t possibly be a better way to meet people than through face-to-face conversation, with the advantage of letting certain individuals know right away that you are interested in meeting with them for a second time, and the benefit of not having to commit to a second date until after you’ve had some time to think things over.

Speed Dating Event Schedule

If you are single and haven’t tried speed dating, you’ll definitely want to give Lucky 7 Match a try. It’s an evening of fun interacting with many singles from throughout Southern California, with the potential of a successful outcome, and without the stress of approaching a random person.

If you have tried speed dating through other companies, the difference Lucky 7 Match offers through the focus that is given to providing organized and quality events for quality people is something you need to experience. Here’s How it Works

When you first arrive, you will check-in and will receive a “matchcard” along with your ID#. For the ladies, this number will indicate the table or location where you will be for the duration of the event. Tables are numbered and clearly identified. For the men, this number will identify the table or location where you will start your first speed dating experience.

When the event begins, you will meet with your first date for 7 minutes. When this time is up, a bell will ring, signaling the men to rotate to their next speed date. Halfway through the event, a 10-15 minute intermission is held to let everyone at the event openly mingle with each other.

During the event (whenever you feel comfortable), you will mark “yes” or “no” on your matchcard next to your speed date’s ID#, indicating whether or not you would like to have contact with that person again in the future. You have the option of identifying if you would like to contact them for friendship, or more, or not at all! Within 48 hours of the event, Lucky 7 Match Staff will exchange the phone numbers of only those individuals where both dates said “yes”. Remember: You have complete control over who will receive your phone number. If you indicate “no” to any individual on your matchcard, your personal information will not be given out to that person.

In addition, if you happen to see someone you would like to meet before, during, or after the event, there will be a space on your matchcard to write down their name and ID#. You may want to take advantage of the intermission!
